You've heard it said that everything is bigger in Texas, and our Megatower™ lighting series is proof of that. At Larson Electronics, we know that more equipment isn't always the most efficient or cost-effective solution for big jobs. And that's why we've decided to follow the logic of our home state by creating a single piece of lighting equipment powerful enough to handle even the most expansive of worksites. The brawny Megatower™ does the work of multiple light towers with a much smaller footprint and fewer power supply demands, making it the ideal lighting solution for large job sites that require high elevation illumination to achieve complete coverage.

Standing 58' feet when fully deployed, this tower lights up the night with a brilliant 960,000 lumens engineered to simulate daylight conditions. Each of the 16 independently adjustable light heads contains 48 Cree LEDs arranged in banks of four with a separate switched breaker system for each bank. Rugged IP67 rated construction enables these lights to withstand harsh outdoor conditions, including rain and snow. Constructed from heat treated 6063B/T5 aluminum, the 7-stage telescoping pneumatic mast is mounted to a 21' steel trailer with four 6' retractable outriggers and four 7,000 lb manual leveling jacks, allowing this unit to withstand winds up to 125 mph.

We standardly equip all Megatower™ units with a cold weather package to keep the pneumatic mast functioning at peak performance levels even through bitter winters and arctic climates. The Megatower™ is also available as a standalone light plant system. Megatower™ light plants are powered by an 11 kW Kubota diesel generator with a 150 gallon fuel tank. While the Megatower™ is built to endure unforgiving environments and heavy duty daily use, we've also designed it to be as operator friendly as possible. Operators are able to safely deploy and collapse the Megatower™ with ease, and the entire unit measures just 21' long by 7' wide when stowed for travel.
