25 Watt LED PAR 38 Spot / Flood Light - 2500 Lumens - 277 Volts AC
Part # LED30W-PAR38-277V Price:
Click here to view the LED lights comparison chart
The Larson Electronics LED30W-PAR38-277V 25 Watt LED Style Bulb is designed to fit in standard light bulb sockets and provides durability, multi color options, and rough service that makes it ideal for industrial and commercial applications. This 25 watt LED replacement bulb provides 2500 lumens.
The LED30W-PAR38-277V is an LED light bulb that can serve as a PAR38 LED upgrade from standard light bulbs fitting E26 bulb sockets. Utilizing only 25 Watts and designed to operate with 277 Volts AC, this lamp provides higher efficiency than traditional incandescent PAR38 bulbs and is a direct fit replacement. The light output is comparable to a 150 watt incandescent PAR38 bulb.
The LED30W-PAR38-277V is the ideal upgrade and/or replacement for security flood lights around the home or business. This bulb produces nearly 20% more light at 10 feet than a standard 300 watt A19 rough service bulb. Combined with a "pure white" color output, this bulb is ideal for improving the light output of hand lamps, drop lights, and other standard incandescent lighting within industrial applications.
This lamp has an acceptable operating temperature range of -20C to 85C and an operational life of 50,000 hours. The solid state design of this lamp means it is resistant to the effects of impacts and vibrations, providing adding durability to withstand conditions that would cause a normal incandescent bulb to fail. The overall dimensions of the remote controlled LED light are the same as a standard PAR38 incandescent lamp, and the base is constructed of aluminum for durability and resistance to rust and corrosion.
This PAR38 LED replacement lamp is dimmable on 277V AC to 50% light output. When paired with the Leviton Illumatech IPX06-70Z dimmer switch, the lamps will dim from 100% down to 50%. Dimming below 50% light output will shut the LED bulb off. Results may vary with other model dimmer switches.
The PAR38 is the same base and dimensions as a standard PAR38 incandescent light bulb. You can use this LED light bulb as a replacement for a standard outdoor flood lamp in your home. However, given the durability and longevity, we also see this LED light bulb as an ideal solution for a variety of industrial uses. As such, this LED light bulb can provide additional safety measures and time savings, given the low heat production and that it does not require replacing for 50,000 hours. Since the LED bulb uses solid state technology, the vibration (dropping, etc.) that degrades conventional incandescent bulbs is not an issue with these LED bulbs.

New Lighting Standards Provide Opportunity for Savings
Even for the average homeowner, significant savings will result from upgrading to LED lighting or high efficiency fluorescent systems. The average home uses up to 25% of its electricity in lighting. To simplify things, consider that a standard incandescent bulb used in the home costs about $4.50. Now consider that an LED with comparable light output will currently cost about $29.00 at the high end. The LED costs much more right? Not really. [...]
LED Advances and World Acceptance
All over globe, LEDs are popping up everywhere. You can now find LEDs in traffic signals, parking lot lamps, shopping centers, ships and aircraft and industrial manufacturing facilities just to name a few of the most popular applications. In cities and states across the US, reports are appearing in the media that back up the energy efficiency potential of LEDs, with many companies and local governments reporting reductions in energy consumption of up to 70% in applications where a full [...]
Infrared Light and CCD Based Digital Cameras
When most of us think of night vision devices we usually picture the elaborate electronic headgear or special cameras used by military personnel. We usually assume the technology is complicated and the price exorbitant and so we also assume that attractive as being able to see in the dark may be, its beyond the realm of us mere mortals. [...]
LEDs: Good News in a Weak Economy
Due to the current weak economic climate there is an increasing emphasis on cost cutting and savings in the commercial and industrials sectors. Businesses are increasingly looking for ways to increase operating efficiency while also reducing costs, without negatively affecting their production levels or employee base. [...]
LED Efficiency Poised to Change How the World is Illuminated
Unless youve been living in a cave and have no idea what an electric bill looks like, youve likely heard about LED lighting. With some suggesting that this technology has the potential to actually change the world, LEDs have in a short amount of time become an everyday household word. Its entirely possible that within the next ten years we may be wondering how we ever got by without them. [...]
LEDs vs CFLs: No Compromise Necessary
With the current trends in energy efficiency and conservation presenting a persistent and important presence on the world stage, it is only natural that energy efficient forms of lighting technology continue to receive increasing scrutiny. With over 60 billion dollars per year spent in the U.S. alone on energy for lighting, it is clear that there is great opportunity for increased efficiency and savings. [...]
Unseen Benefits of LEDs
With all the excitement over the potential savings in energy and maintenance costs associated with LED lighting, its very easy to overlook some of the less obvious cost saving benefits they bring. Most of the focus on LEDs centers on their ability to produce light much more efficiently than traditional incandescent bulbs. Because incandescent bulbs create light by heating a filament with electrical current, much of the energy they consume is radiated as heat rather than light. [...]
The End of the Incandescent Bulb
In 1879 Thomas Alva Edison famously produced the first practical electric light bulb and transformed the entire world almost overnight. His design led to the first commercial power plants, the first electrical power grids, and changed how industry worked, and how private citizens lived their lives. Edisons commitment to bringing cheap electrical lighting and power to the public helped to usher in the technological age and forever changed the face of the world. [...]
Whats So Great About LEDs?
Chances are, if youve shopped for any kind of light bulb recently youve noticed that there some new offerings among the usual selection of bulbs and lamps that line the shelves of your local hardware store. Where the available variety once consisted of simple incandescent bulbs and fluorescent tubes of various wattages, we are now seeing some unusual additions of a wholly different nature. [...]
