Larson Electronics manufactures the
Larson Electronics 12 volt spotlights with magnetic base and 12 volt searchlights with magnetic base with magnetic bases and 16 foot cords in Dallas, TX. These
industrial grade 12 volt spotlights
have been a staple of the cable, telephone and electric utility industry since

The HAL-TP-2X150LED-100 Quadpod Mounted Hazardous Area LED Light from Larson Electronics produces 29,580 lumens of light capable of illuminating an area 36,000 square feet in size. The HAL-TP-2x150LED-100 is a quadpod mounted hazardous area LED light and provides 36,000 square feet of work area coverage with 29,580 lumens of light output. This portable LED quadpod light has a removable LED light head mounted on top of a two wheeled aluminum tripod for easy positioning of the unit from one area of the workspace to another. The LED light head on this unit includes two 150 watt LED fixtures and produces a wide flood pattern of light that is ideal for illuminating enclosed areas such as tanks and containers and is suitable for hazardous locations where flammable vapors, gases and dusts may be present. |

This portable LED light quadpod is comprised of a removable LED light head assembly with dual 150 watt fixtures mounted atop a solid rubber wheeled cart fabricated from non sparking aluminum. The non sparking, adjustable and collapsible quadpod can be extended to eight feet and collapsed to three feet while wheels on two of the quadpod feet enable the operator to tilt the unit back and simply roll the entire assembly to a new location. The explosion proof LED light heads can be removed by releasing the hand knob and sliding the light and mounting bracket off of the quadpod support while the legs can be collapsed, aiding in deployment, storage and transport. The lamps can be easily adjusted up, down or from side to side and locked into position. Included with this LED light quadpod is 100 feet of SOOW cord which combined with 90 degrees of tilt offered by the LED light head provides an effective alternative to often cumbersome explosion proof string lights.
The lamp housings on this quadpod are weatherproof and constructed of die cast aluminum featuring hinged, removable front-access doors with captive closure screws for easy servicing and heat/impact-resistant tempered flat door glass. Each hazardous location light head contains thirty CREE XLamp XPG® five watt LEDs producing 493 lumens each. These LEDs are arranged in rows and paired with high purity optics to produce a 60 degree flood beam while only drawing a combined 2.50 amps on 120V, making these units ideal for use as highly efficient yet powerful work and area lights. The HAL-TP-2X150LED-100 quadpod mounted hazardous location LED light is an ideal replacement for fragile and hot running 400 watt metal halide floodlights.
This unit is also multi-voltage capable and can configured to operate on 120-277 volts 50/60 Hz. These LED lights retains 80% of their lumen output after 50,000 hours of use, far longer than incandescent or fluorescent lamps. The light head can be removed and used separately from the quadpod for added convenience.
