The Larson Electronics EPLCD-48-2L-LED Explosion Proof Paint Spray Booth Light on Dolly Cart is U.S./Canada U.L. approved Class 1 Division 1, Class II Division 1, T6 rated, and offers a versatile lighting solution for applications requiring exceptional work area lighting coverage.

The EPLCD-48-2L-LED dolly cart mounted explosion proof LED light is UL listed Class 1 Division 1 and Class II Division 1 & 2 and offers operators the ability to quickly and easily add a full power light wherever it is needed. This unit incorporates our four foot, two lamp explosion proof fixture equipped with two 28 Watt second generation LED T-series tube lights into a mobile dolly cart style platform. Each 28 watt lamp produces 3,500 lumens for a combined 7,000 lumen total light output. This configuration allows operators to wheel this light fixture into position next to the target or lay it flat to provide illumination beneath the target.

This T6 rated explosion proof LED light and dolly cart assembly offers an excellent lighting solution for operators who need illumination in unusual areas where traditional fixed mount lighting is obstructed or cannot effectively reach. The high output LED lamps provide quality lighting while the solid state design of LEDs provide a stable and durable light source, providing increased reliability and up time without the worries of traditional lighting.


 
The EPLCD-48-2L-LED with polycarbonate paint spray cover protects the lamps from over spray during operation.

Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current applied and emitting light. With LED lights, there is no warm up time or cool down time before re-striking and provide instant illumination when powered on, adding to the reliability of LED technology. By nature, LED light sources run significantly cooler than traditional lamps, reducing the chance of accidental burns and increased temperatures due to heat emissions. This solid state design of light emitting diodes provides a more reliable, stable, durable, and energy efficient light source over traditional lighting.

There is no ballast in this unit and the included LED T-series lamps have a 50,000+ hour service life, both of which result in extreme efficiency, cooler operation and greatly reduced maintenance costs. The solid state design of the LED lamps give this fixture superior resistance to damage from vibrations and extremes in temperature as well as a lamp service life over twice that of standard T8 bulbs. The lamps are protected by heat and impact resistant Pyrex tubes and an additional polycarbonate lens which provides added protection from impacts and over-spray. The light fixture is constructed of copper free aluminum alloy and is shipped with a 50` SOOW cord and explosion proof plug. The lamp reflectors are corrosion resistant heavy gauge aluminum and coated with a high gloss reflective finish.

Wiring & Plug: This explosion proof cart mounted lighting system is equipped with 50` of 16/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord that is fitted with an explosion proof cord cap for easy connection to explosion proof outlets. Plug options include a 5-15 15 amp straight blade plug for use with 120V explosion proof outlets, a 5-20 20 amp straight blade plug for use with 120V explosion proof outlets, or a 6-20 20 amp straight blade plug for use with 220-240V explosion proof outlets.

The 28 watt LED lamps produce 30% more illumination than standard T8 bulbs. This unit is universal voltage (not multi-tap) and operates on a range from 100-277 volts 50/60 Hz AC. We also make a 11-25V version for low voltage applications that operates on both AC and DC voltages without modification.
