The WAL-QP-RPS-WP60 is an aluminum quadpod mounted rechargable work area LED light and provides 3,750 square feet of work area coverage with 5,400 lumens of light output. This portable LED light tower has a LED light head mounted on top of a four leg durable steel quadpod equipped with wheels for easy positioning of the unit from one area of the workspace to another. The LED light head on this unit produces a wide flood pattern of light that is ideal for illuminating large workspaces and job sites. This light is a direct replacement for 500 watt quartz lights and is designed for heavy duty use in demanding conditions including emergency services, mining, construction, marine, and industrial operations where durability and reliability is critical.
This battery powered LED light tower comes with a regarcheable battery pack and one single charge can last up to 8 hours a of use. The 90 amp hour battery back mounted at the base of the tower provides ample run time, making this product idea for temporary construction sites, outdoor work in winter months, and any work environment where portable illumination is required for large workspaces.

This portable rechargable LED light tower is comprised of an adjustable LED light head mounted atop a four leg quadpod fabricated from light weight aluminum tubing. This adjustable and collapsible quadpod can be extended to twelve feet, collapsed to seven feet, and includes solid wheels allow the operator to tilt the unit back and simply roll the entire assembly to a new location when fully deployed. The LED light fixture assembly can be removed by releasing the hand knob and sliding the light and mounting bracket off of the center support while the legs can be collapsed, aiding in deployment, storage and transport. The lamp can be easily adjusted vertically and locked into position.
The light assembly on this portable work light is constructed of three angled boards that helps provide a wider spread. Instead of the light only shining forward, the center board is concentrated to go straight out while the boards on the side are 45° offset. The LED boards and reflectors are protected by a scratch and shatter resistant polycarbonate lens attached to the aluminum housing, allowing this unit to withstand abuse that traditional halogen work lamps cannot. This LED work light is waterproof, vapor proof, and built to resist the damaging effects of an outdoor environments and use in temporary job sites.
Heat Management: Heat is the single largest factor in premature LED failure and color shifting. As a result, many manufacturers reduce the output of their LEDs to reduce the amount of heat produced. These LED work lights utilize an extruded aluminum housing that incorporates an advanced heat radiating fin design which dissipates heat efficiently to produce the maximum amount of power and longevity from the integrated LED emitters. The end result is more light and longer LED life with higher average lumen maintenance after 50,000 hours.
Durability: This LED work area light is made up of IP68 rated construction that is designed to withstand extremes of environmental and operating conditions. These LED area lights can withstand rapid temperature changes of -40° Celsius to +85° Celsius, are waterproof to three meters and resist ingress of dust, dirt and humidity. The housings are formed from thick extruded aluminum and the lenses are shock resistant polycarbonate.
Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current applied and emitting light. With LED lights, there is no warm up time or cool down time before re-striking and provide instant illumination when powered on, adding to the reliability of LED technology. By nature, LED light sources run significantly cooler than traditional lamps, reducing the chance of accidental burns and increased temperatures due to heat emissions. This solid state design of light emitting diodes provides a more reliable, stable, durable, and energy efficient light source over traditional lighting.

The LED light head on this unit is small enough to allow it to fit through most standard size manholes and entry points. The LED light head can also be removed from the quadpod, the quadpod collapsed and the entire assembly passed through a manhole and reassembled once inside. This unit is configured to be recharged on 120V or 240V AC. This LED light head retains 80% of its lumen output after 50,000 hours of use, far longer than incandescent or fluorescent lamps.
