Larson Electronics Releases 3PH Buck and Boost Transformer, 208V Primary, 236V Secondary (4/2/2024)

This Delta step-up transformer is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications. This unit provides protection against critical equipment failures by isolating the power source from the connected equipment.

The MT-BBT-208D-236D-3P-6.25A step-up three-phase buck and boost transformer features a 2.56 kVA rating and a primary voltage of 208V. This unit uses a maximum of 7.08 amps on the primary side and 6.25 amps on the secondary side, which features a voltage of 236V. This transformer is a three-phase delta configuration without a neutral setting.

Larson Electronics’ step-up buck and boost transformer features cores made with non-aging, cold-rolled silicon steel laminations and features a NEMA 3R painted steel enclosure. This unit features a 130˚C insulation with an 80˚C temperature rise. This unit features copper winding formed from high quality magnetic copper wire to help improve the transformer’s performance. Suitable applications include manufacturing, lighting systems, air conditioning, and more.
