Larson Electronics Releases 15 kVA Power Distribution Substation, 600V to 208Y/120V 3PH (3/27/2024)

Kemp TX: Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of a 15 kVA power distribution substation that converts three-phase 600V AC current to three-phase 208Y/120V AC. This unit allows operators to safely tap into and distribute 600V power from generators and direct grid power.

The MGS-DC-600D-1X600.30A-15KVA-208Y.120-10X120.20A power distribution system gives operators the ability to power their 600V, 208V and 120V equipment from a single system. This unit features a primary side that connects three-phase 600V line-in power via 20-feet of #6 SOOW cable to one ADR3033 receptacle for 600V equipment. The secondary side allows operators to connect to 10 5-20R GFCI duplex receptacles for 120V equipment. All receptacles feature weatherproof covers.

Larson Electronics’ power distribution subsystem features a primary side with three 30-amp time delay fuses that protect one 30-amp, 600V ADR3033 pin/sleeve receptacle and a secondary side that features three 20-amp time delay fuses and 10 20-amp, 1-pole, 125V breakers that protect 10 20-amp, 125V, 5-20R GFCI duplex receptacles. This unit comes with forklift skid pockets and locking casters. The transformer is grounded to the frame via a ground lug that is provided. Suitable applications include plant maintenance and turnarounds, manufacturing plants and more.
