Larson Electronics Releases 30” Explosion Proof Fan, 8,000 CFM, 1/2 HP, 230/460V AC 3PH (3/21/2024)

Kemp TX: Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of an explosion proof high velocity fan designed for use in Class I, Division 1 hazardous locations. This industrial grade fan measures 30” in diameter and can circulate air at a rate of 8,000 cubic feet per minute (CFM). This device is compatible with 230/460V AC three phase.

The EPF-HSPF-30-0.5HP-3P explosion proof fan is rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Group D; and Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups F and G hazardous locations. This device is equipped with a non-sparking aluminum propeller that measures 30” in diameter. This fan is compatible with 230/460V AC three phase and is powered by a 1/2 horsepower motor that is fully enclosed.

Larson Electronics’ explosion proof high velocity fan rotates the blade up to 1,725 times per minute (RPM) and emits 86 decibels from 10’ away, similar to the sound of busy city traffic. This fan offers a 360˚ tilt and comes with a 1” NPT hub for completing power connections. Suitable applications include hazardous locations, clean rooms, grain mills, marijuana extraction rooms, and more.
