Larson Electronics Releases 70W Explosion Proof LED Wall Pack Flood Light, Day/Night Sensor (3/19/2024)

Kemp TX: Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of an explosion proof LED pack flood light with day/night sensor. This LED light produces 6,300 lumens of light and offers 50,000 hours of lamp life. This unit is designed for maximum efficiency with a 70-watt integrated LED assembly.

The HAL-WPLED-70W-DNS explosion proof LED flood light is rated for use in Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C and D; and Class I, Zone 2 hazardous locations. This 70-watt explosion proof LED light pack is designed to replace energy consuming 400-watt metal halide light fixtures and requires no maintenance or electrical requirements that typically accompany metal halide lights. This unit features an integrated LED assembly paired with prismatic glass that produces a wide light distribution.

Larson Electronics’ explosion proof LED light comes in 5000K, 4000K or 3000K color temperatures and features a self-hinged door for easy access to the light bulb and wiring components. This wall pack comes with two 1/2" conduit entries and a 1/2” rear knockout that allows entry to the back of the fixture for wiring. This unit’s LED assembly is housed in a waterproof die-cast copper-free aluminum housing that is coated for added durability.

This unit comes with an integrated day/night photocell for automatic operation of the light when ambient light levels drop below a certain amount. This unit is universal voltage capable and can be operated on voltages from 100V to 277V AC 50/60Hz. Suitable applications include chemical plants, building facades, manufacturing plants and more.
