Larson Electronics Releases Explosion Proof Outlet Enclosure, 3 Ports, M25 Hubs, Terminal Block (3/17/2024)

Kemp TX: Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of an explosion proof outlet enclosure for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous locations. This outlet enclosure offers protection for electrical connections inside hazardous work environments. This unit features a 6-point terminal block mounted inside the T-type enclosure that facilitates wiring connections.

The ATEX-EPJ-3-M25-TB.6 explosion proof outlet enclosure is rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups C and D; Class I, Zones 1 and 2, Groups IIB and IIA; Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F and G; and Class III hazardous locations. This unit features a T-type hub configuration and three ports. The 6-point terminal block sits inside the enclosure and is mounted on raised pads.

Larson Electronics’ explosion proof outlet enclosure is rated at 300V and 20 amps and accepts wire sizes ranging from #22 to #12AWG. This outlet enclosure is made from copper-free aluminum and finished in an electrostatically-applied powder coating. This device is compatible with surface or conduit mount configurations and comes with three M25 hubs for completing connections. Suitable applications include chemical plants, paint spray booths, hazardous locations and more.
