Larson Electronics Releases 36W Explosion Proof Fluorescent Fixture, 220/240V AC, (2) 4’ Lamps (3/10/2024)

Kemp TX: Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of a 36-watt explosion proof fluorescent light fixture for use in ATEX/IECEx hazardous locations. This unit comes with two 4-foot lamps that operate on 220V to 240V AC. This unit is rated IP66 and made of non-sparking materials.

The ATEX-HALP-48-2L-T8-2X18W explosion proof 36-watt fluorescent light fixture designed for use in flammable and hazardous environments. This unit consumes 36 watts while in operation and offers a flood beam pattern for full work area coverage. The fluorescent lamps carry a T4 temperature rating and an NC switch provides all-pole disconnection when the fixture is opened.

Larson Electronics’ explosion proof fluorescent light fixture is made of non-sparking materials with a housing made of glass fiber-reinforced polyester resin and a polycarbonate lens with silicon foam gaskets. This unit is compatible with wall and ceiling mount configurations and comes with two M25 hubs for completing electrical connections. Suitable applications include crew quarters, petrochemical facilities, lubrication pits, oil drilling rigs and more.
