Larson Electronics Releases 150 Watt High Bay Class 2 Div 1Explosion Proof LED Light|
Larson Electronics, a leader in the manufacture and distribution of high grade industrial light products, has announced today the release of a powerful high bay LED light designed to provide an easily mounted and adjusted source of explosion proof rated illumination.
The EPLC2-HB-150LED-RT explosion proof high bay led light fixture from Larson Electronics offers operators in hazardous locations a powerful, efficient, and more durable alternative to fluorescent or metal halide lighting systems. This C2D1 LED fixture features a 16 inch round aluminum housing body that has been designed for excellent heat dissipation and durability and an aluminum trunnion mount that makes mounting and placement simple and adjustable. This LED area light draws only 150 watts of power, yet produces 12,000 lumens of light output in a wide flood pattern that is ideal for illuminating work areas, warehouse space, processing lines and anywhere large scale illumination is needed. The aluminum housing on this unit is lightweight and specially designed to dissipate heat, helping to maintain LED longevity while providing excellent fixture durability. This explosion proof light mounts using an included aluminum trunnion bracket that is designed for attachment to flat surfaces such as walls and ceilings. This light is T5 temperature rated and approved for areas deemed as hazardous locations and carries Class 1 Division 1 & 2, Class 2 Division 1 & 2, and Class 3 approvals as well as ETL certifications. This explosion proof LED light is an ideal lighting solution for both hazardous and non hazardous locations including petrochemical processing facilities, water treatment plants, warehouses, manufacturing lines, and anywhere operators wish to improve the efficiency and reliability of their lighting systems without sacrificing any overall lighting output.
“The EPLC2-HB-150LED-RT LED lighting is more conducive to hazardous area lighting than fragile and less efficient gas burning fixtures,” said Robert Bresnahan of Larson Electronics.com.
