Larson Electronics’s New 10,800 Lumen US Made LED Light Rivals 1000 Watt Metal Halide Lights
Larson Electronics’ larsonelectronics.com announced the addition of the LED10W-12EX LED emitter light with 10,800 lumen output, 12-32 DC voltage input, machined aluminum housing and adjustable trunnion mount. Illuminating reflective objects to 5600 feet and providing bright white light to 4500 feet, the LED10W-12EX carries a 5 year warranty and is all components and final assembly is done in the USA.
(Vocus/PRWEB ) May 11, 2010 -- Larson Electronics’ larsonelectronics.com unveiled the US made LED10W-12EX LED emitter light. Producing 10,800 lumens, this LED light can be configured as a spotlight reaching 4500 feet or as a wide area flood light, covering an area 1050 feet long and 600 feet wide. Featuring twelve 10 Watt LEDS, the LED10W-12EX LED light produces 120 watts and draws 10 amps on a typical 12 volt vehicle circuit. The LEDs are secured within a machined billet aluminum housing with a powder coat finish. A multi-pin Amp hermaphroditic connector brings power to the LED light while maintaining the IP67 weatherproof rating. While the LED light runs natively on 12 to 32 volts DC, Larson Electronics.com provides a variety of weatherproof, inline transformers enabling operators to run these high powered LED lights on 110/120 volts or 220/240 volts for international applications.
“The LED10W-12EX LED light, with 10,800 lumens and our proprietary optics substantially outperforms a 1000 watt metal halide light or high pressure sodium light with greater area coverage at lower amp draw," said Rob Bresnahan with Larson Electronics’ larsonelectronics.com. "We have seen a lot of positive feedback on our LEDLB-80X2 LED light and the LED10W-9S lights from both heavy equipment operators and large fishing fleet vessels alike. These operators can abandon their noisy, high maintenance generators and eliminate high voltage lines while maintaining the type of light coverage from their high wattage metal halide and high pressure sodium lights. The LED10W-12EX is another option for these operators to save space and weight, while reducing the electrical complexity and ambient noise on board the boat. While most of our LED lights are Buy American compliant, this LED light is completely made in the USA."
