Three Phase heaters are powered by a three wire AC circuit. Because of this circuit’s power density and flexibility it is common in large commercial buildings, and industrial and manufacturing facilities. Three phase units provide 1.732 times more power with the same current than a single phase. Three phase allows for smaller, less expensive wiring and lower voltages, making these explosion proof heaters safer and less expensive to run.

Our explosion proof three phase heaters are available in a variety of models. The standard fan forced models are available in 3-25 kW with 208, 240, 480, and 600 volts, and can be pole, wall or pendant mounted. A cart mounted option is also available for applications that need a portable heater. These three phase standard heaters are Class 1, Group C & D Division 1 & 2, and Class II, Group E, F and G, Divisions I and 2 rated, ideal for hazardous locations where explosive conditions may be present.

We also carry three phase convector heaters, that are available in 208, 240, 277, and 480 volts and are Class 1, Group B, C & D Division 1 & 2 rated, with T2 and T3 temperature rating options.
