Fan forced heater units utilize fans that pass air over a heating element and circulates it back into the room. Fan forced units heat enclosed spaces quicker than convection heaters and typically cost less. They require a small amount of electricity, making them a budget friendly option, and the electricity used is eventually converted to heat, so these units are very energy efficient. However, motor-powered fan heaters are more loud so they are generally better suited for more noisy industrial applications where this would not be a distraction.

These explosion proof fan-forced heaters are for Class I, Group C & B, Division I & 2, as well as Class II, Group F & G, Divisions 1 & 2, ideal for hazardous industrial applications where the possibility of explosions or fires exist. The units are made of 14-gauge steel cabinets that are powder coated for durability, and include copper conductor wires enclosed in rigid metal conduits. A narrow gap guard protects the fans moving parts and adjustable louvers allow operators to control the direction of air. A pressure relief value made of stainless steel and aluminum is included for overpressure, and a back-up contractor is also included for additional protection.

The fans comply with OSHA requirements, and the fan’s high performance electric motors are rated for hazardous locations and operates at 60 Hz at 1725 RPM, blowing air with effect heat transfer and uniform area distribution.

Our fan-forced heaters are available in 3-25 kW models and voltage options: 208, 240, 480 and 600 in selected capacities. You can choose between single phase and three phase units – All standard units include disconnect switches, pilot lights and thermostats.
