When working in paint spray booths, or other hazardous areas where flammable chemical/petrochemical vapors are present, it’s highly crucial to have lighting that will not only produce true color for great detailing and inspection, but is rated for the hazardous location in which it will be used.

Larson Electronics has designed a variety of wall and ceiling mounted fluorescent paint spray booth lights that meet the required ratings to provide operators with safe and effective lighting that is ideal for use in paint spray booths, clean rooms and industrial hazardous locations where accumulated paint and finish residues may be encountered. These recessed fixtures are all designed to provide a thin lighting profile for maximizing available space in paint spray booths and hazardous locations, with maximum illumination.

Our hazardous area fluorescent lay-in panel fixtures are recess mounted, front loading units with a troffer design, and are Class 1 Division 2 Groups A, B, C and D rated. We also feature low profile explosion proof lights which are Class 1 Division 2, Groups A, B, C and D - Class 2 Division 2, Groups F and G rated. These units provide reliable and durable, low profile lighting solutions for locations that are not only hazardous, but contain explosive materials. Additionally, these hazardous location lights include an integral paint spray cutoff switch that shuts down paint spray systems when the fixture is opened for maximum safety. These low-profile explosion proof lights come with 2, 4, or 6 fluorescent lamps.

Our rear access lay-in panel light fixtures feature rear-access doors for direct entry to the internal components for easy maintenance are Class 1 Division 2, Groups A, B, C and D - Class 2 Division 2, Groups F and G rated.
