Machine Vision Lights
Machine vision is the technology and methods used to provide imaging-based automatic inspection and analysis for applications such as, automatic inspection, process control and robot guidance. Larson Electronics offers a wide variety of compact LED luminaries that are specifically designed for use in these automated machine vision applications. All of our machine vision lights are designed with LEDs making them highly superior to traditional lighting technologies, including incandescent or fluorescent lamps which are not suitable for automated machine applications, because of short lifespan and unpredictable performance. LEDs create powerful, reliable, water proof and shock proof, customizable lighting units. The addition of our LED lights to an automated machine system allows large scale productions to run smoothly with reliable illumination notifications and signaling, higher energy efficiency and protection against potential contamination.
Our LED machine vision adjustable tube lights and general area lights provide high output and ruggedly durable lighting solutions. Waterproof ratings ensure protection against potential dust, dirt, oil contaminants, as well as full protection against water directly sprayed at high pressure. The no glass assembly in these units makes them a perfect fit for food service machine systems, and large-scale manufacturing and packaging operations. The lightweight LED lights are ideal for compact spaces and automated systems, and the LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high-pressure sodium lights, and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury. This makes the LEDs extremely safe to use in hazardous locations and more energy efficient, lowering operational costs.
Our infrared IR LED light bars offer very unique versatility and features. Infrared LEDs are extremely useful to Industrial facilities, military ops and law enforcement groups to boost security via thermal imaging systems without visible back lighting. They can also be used to monitor the release of dangerous gases, including methane, in processing plants and refineries and used for non-destructive testing during quality assurance and inspections to identify weaknesses, inconsistencies and low quality in products such as food and other damaged goods. Our line of IR emitters operates on the following wavelengths (depending on the model): 750NM, 850NM, 940NM and 1550NM.
At Larson Electronics, we do more than meet your lighting needs. We also provide replacement, retrofit, and upgrade parts as well as industrial grade power accessories.
