The combination of heat from the sun, plus that radiating off of the machinery, can lead to hazardous effects on your health, as well as your machines.
Without an active cooling system in place, this combination of heat can cause extreme, irreversible damage to equipment, as well as, low productivity from workers. Here at Larson Electronics we have designed a way to combat this heat, and save on energy and maintenance costs, with our line of explosion proof coolers and fans.
Our line of classified fans provides operators with a solution to cooling their hazardous work environments in a short amount of time. They do this by stirring up stagnant air in low activity areas and then circulating fresh air around the work space. This movement helps to remove unwanted odors, smoke and dangerous fumes, as well as, equipment damaging moisture and prevents overheating of heavy-duty machines and the workers that operate them.
For hazardous areas with smaller access ways, we offer a line of evaporative coolers and chillers. These explosion proof chillers combine a non-sparking aluminum fan with dry mist technology to cool hazardous work areas that do not have access to traditional air conditioning. These portable cooling systems come equipped with a 34 gallon tank and 8 strategically placed spray nozzles for up to 8 hours of run time. A built in pump will automatically shut off once the tank is empty.
