Motorized remote control spotlight with 50 Watt High Intensity
Discharge (HID) light, magnetic base and 16 foot coil cord with cigarette
plug. This remote controlled work light produces 4500 lumens and produces
a high powered spotlight beam to 4,100 feet. Alternatively, this HID light
can be configured with a flood lens, producing a soft, wide beam covering an
area 425 feet in width and length.
The RCL360-HID-RF-M is a remote controlled, industrial
grade HID spotlight, producing 4500 lumens (equivalent to 1,000,000
industrial candlepower rating and a 15 million retail candlepower
rating). This remote controlled HID spotlight produces an 4100 foot
beam with a 50 watt HID bulb and ballast combination. This
motorized spotlight is controlled via a handheld wireless remote
control that offers 4 directional buttons and an on/off switch for the
light beam itself. The two 200 pound grip magnetic bases hold
the light securely to any ferrous metal surface even at driving speeds.

A key feature of this remote control spotlight is the "up and over"
capability. Unlike most remote control lights, this light can be used to
point straight upwards while maintaining full beam width. This light can also
point nearly directly downward, limited only by the very narrow base.
Basically, this remote controlled light offers a complete range of coverage, due
to its unique "yolk" based designed.
Another unique aspect of this light is that the light can be moved in
two directions simultaneously. Most remote controlled spotlights can be
right and left or up and down independently. This light can be moved at
angles. For example, you can move the light down and to the right at
the same time. This enables the operator to position the light very
easily on even the smallest target. This can be helpful to driving
and spotting at the same time. To some extent, this light embodies
the finite controls afforded the operator by pillar mount spotlights
with the wireless handheld remote control.

MOTORIZED TILT AND ROTATION
Electric motors control full
horizontal and vertical light movement via a wireless remote
controller that can be used anywhere in the vehicle, boat or heavy
equipment. This remote control light uses "slip drive" motors, which
enables the operator to position the light by hand if they choose without
causing damage to the motors. This feature also protects the motors and
gear is the light hits a tree branch or other obstacle.
LIGHT BEAM OPTIONS
This HID light can be
configured for a spotlight or flood light configuration. Please
select below under beam options for spotlight or flood
light. The 50 watt HID bulb produces 4500 lumens, which is
equivalent to a 1,000,000 industrial candlepower rating and a 20
million retail candlepower rating. In a flood beam configuration,
this light casts a 425 foot by 425 foot beam. In a spot
beam configuration, this HID light casts a 4100 foot beam that is 255 feet at
its widest point. The difference between the spot and flood
configuration is based on the use of different lens/reflector
combinations to either let the light pass directly outward for
distance (spot) or diffuse the light for a wider, softer beam (flood).

Weather-resistant light and base provides safe, dependable operation in the
most demanding environments including fresh water and salt water marine
use. The weather resistant properties are due to the UV resistant housing
materials and the individually potted and sealed electrical components.
The motors, board controllers, ballast and other components are completely
potted and sealed and connected via weatherproof connections. All support
materials are Delrin, stainless steel, polycarbonate or brass. Saltwater
is not an issue. The light can be exposed to waves, rain and other
water sources under high wind conditions. The light can be temporarily

WIRELESS REMOTE CONTROL FOR SPOTLIGHT
Wireless remote control enables the operator of this wireless remote
controlled spotlight to turn the beam on and off, and control the direction with
4 directional buttons. The light moves as the buttons are depressed.
The light stops and holds position when the buttons are released. The
remote is easily held in the hand, operated easily with a gloved
hand and is weatherproof.
MOUNTING and WIRING
A detachable 16 foot coil cord with
heavy duty cigarette plug brings power to the spotlight. Two 200lb.
grip magnets allow the operator to mount and dismount the light easily to any
ferrous metal surface. This magnetic base is designed to hold the light to
the vehicle even at highway speeds. Additional shock absorbing materials
buffer the magnetic base and the light, increasing the light's ability to
contuor to slightly uneven or curved surfaces more effectively.
This spotlight can be mounted right side up, upside down or at any angle
without concern for water intrusion, etc.
Stainless steel and Delrin.
All internal moving
components are made from stainless steel and Delrin (acetal copolymer).
The motor assemblies, shafts, brackets and other structural items are made from
stainless steel, while the gears are made from a self lubricating grade of
Delrin (acetal copolymer). Delrin is a unique resin designed by Dupont and
is commonly used as an alternative to steel in applications where saltwater,
chemicals and high heat are an issue. Delrin is chemical resistant,
oil resistant, saltwater resistant and maintains its properties in sub zero
temperatures (-40 C) and temperatures well over 200 degrees
C. These materials are chosen for their ability to provide long
lasting durability in inclement environments, making this remote controlled
light an ideal solution for mining, oilfield and saltwater
applications. The housing is made from UV resistant
polycarbonate with a brass back plate for support.
